Acrivastine works by preventing histamine from binding to the body sites that trigger allergic symptoms.
You may experience:
Dry mouth
Dizziness
You may eat normally while taking acrivastine.
Grapefruit or grapefruit juice and acrivastine shouldn’t be taken together.
When acrivastine is taken with alcohol or sedatives, it can cause further impairment.
If you forget to take your prescription, take it as soon as you remember.
If you miss a dose, don’t take a double dose.
If your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and take the next one.
